Martinat Engineering was the Engineer of Record for the La Playa Hotel renovation which involved relocating and enlarging two new reinforced concrete elevator shafts in a four-story building on the north side of the property. This highly complex project required out-of-the-box thinking and diligent, continuous coordination with the contractor during construction to overcome all on-site challenges encountered.
